Mother Nature is feeling sensitive today, she came to me this morning crying four inches of snow and the tearflakes just keep falling, so be nice to her.
Ma Nat is getting more mature each year and this is a special year. Just like starting your period when you become a "young woman", one day you stop having it and go through menopause. Menopause is the next monumental step in a woman's life, she enters into "wise womanhood". This year our wonderful mother has entered into her menopausal phase of life and her emotions have been heightened, therefore our weather has reflected her ups and downs, around and rounds. This isn't something we can complain about, we must humor her and pretend to be excited about each day that comes before us, she does have the power to levitate, homes.
This morning, the tearflakes falling is due to the fact that our natural mom is feeling stressed about Earth Day next week, she doesn't feel she has enough time to prepare for her favorite day. She said something about her flowers not in bloom and the trees not perky enough, and then finished with, "and I saw six people throw trash out the window on Addison yesterday, and that is just measly Twin Falls...What is the rest of the world up to??? NO GOOD! Why don't they love me anymore?" For the most part I had nothing right to say, so I just gave her a hug and a pat on the back and told her that her tears were going to make those snow animals very happy today.
She seemed a little more calm as she left me this morning, as if she just needed someone to vent to. I hope she feels better soon, and I hope those inconsiderate, immatures on Addison reap the consequences of upsetting their mom.
Be the best kid you can be today, and remember to show her that you care.

lets hope we get another 4,550,000,000 years with her huh?
ReplyDeleteI know your mom and the scary part is she already went through menopause. It is sweet to blame her complicated personality disorder on nature’s natural ageing process. Any swell daughter should follow your lead. However, your mom like spring has always and will always be completely twister sister. Let us rejoice said the lord… she will rage on for 4 billion years
ReplyDeleteI know a little dog that can levitate. His name is Shanty which means a small, crude dwelling.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. I think Mother Nature is just a little moody and wants everyone around to take notice- just like anyone who isn't feeling their best. She just wants and needs a little TLC, so to get attention, she's turned to her sassy side and decided to change things up a little.
