Dears or Deers
When someone says "she is such a dear," it is sweet and kind, but always in the back of my head, I am wishing they were saying "she is such a deer," which is equally as sweet and kind. I would rather be referred to as a galloping, shy, beautiful animal living amongst the pine trees and wild flowers than to a bunch of letters. And by letters I mean both those that make up the alphabet and those that one writes to a loved one at sea. I just don't want to be a plain jane old dear letter, by golly, I want to be a lovely, leaping, wild deer.

I'll frolic with you, my deer.
